About
Curney Lin is a film composer currently studying at the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 2003, Curney's musical journey began at the age of 5 when she started studying electone and piano through Yamaha group lessons. Her passion for music led her to pursue one-to-one lessons after relocating to Australia for a few years. Upon returning to Taiwan, Curney expanded her musical horizons by delving into composition and electone under instructors Mrs. Chia-Hui Fang and Ms. Yun-Yen Ho, while also mastering piano with Mrs. I-Chen Chen.

Throughout her musical career, Curney has showcased her talent and dedication by participating in numerous competitions and garnering awards for her outstanding performances. Her musical versatility extends beyond piano and electone; she has explored orchestral music, film scores, electronic music, and pop, across a wide range of film genres, including drama, romance, comedy, sci-fi, animation, action, horror, fantasy, and historical films.
Curney has collaborated with directors, film and animation schools, and galleries such as the London Film Academy, Queen Mary University, MET Film School, the London College of Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Central Saint Martins. Her compositions have been showcased at prestigious venues like the Barbican Centre, the Courtauld Gallery, and the National Gallery, as part of a music-art collaboration project. She
expertises in composing, orchestrating, mixing, conducting, and recording.
With a multifaceted background, Curney Lin wishes to bring her unique blend of creativity, skill, and passion to every project she undertakes.
