Curney Lin is a Taiwanese film composer recognized for her vibrant orchestral writing infused with electronic textures, creating a unique sound world that bridges classical tradition with contemporary innovation. Her versatility spans drama, romance, comedy, sci-fi, animation, action, horror, fantasy, and historical films. In March 2025, her music was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra under the mentorship of Oscar-winning composer Rachel Portman—a milestone that showcased her distinctive voice on an international stage. You can hear the recording here, featuring her work performed by the LSO.

Her scores have also been recorded by the Guildhall Session Orchestra for film and animation projects. She has collaborated widely with directors, film and animation schools, and galleries including the London Film Academy, Queen Mary University, MET Film School, the London College of Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Central Saint Martins. Her work has been presented at prestigious venues such as the Barbican Centre, the Courtauld Gallery, and the National Gallery, as part of cross-disciplinary projects that connect music with film, animation, and visual art.
